		...make a difference in the life of a young person! Kitsap County has a variety of quality mentoring programs that are in need of mentors. Each program on this list is a member of the Kitsap Youth Mentoring Consortium and has made a commitment to provide quality mentoring for young people. Contact them to ask: Who is eligible to act as a mentor? What is the application process like? What is the time commitment? When can I get started?
		SCHOOL-BASED MENTOR PROGRAMS
		Mentors/mentees meet at a school during the day. CKSD² Mentor Program (Central Kitsap School District) Peer mentors and adult mentors are paired with children and youth grades K-12 in Central Kitsap School District providing academic and social support. 		COMMUNITY-BASED MENTOR PROGRAMS
		Mentors/mentees can meet in locations away from school and outside of the school day. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound Adults mentor youth ages 7-16. Special program matches adults with youth who have an incarcerated parent.
